Hi, We’re Sassenach (Sassy) and Izzy. We're both 20 something year-old moms with toddlers and have been friends for what seems like forever. But really, a thing called being an adult seemed to get in the way for a while. College, guys, and kids seemed to take up so much time and we went years without seeing each other…I know terrible, right? And then one day, something brilliant brought us back together. And we have been inseparable since…

Twilight

Izzy read the books first, fell in love immediately. She devoured the series in a week. Edward was her fictional husband. But, Izzy was a closet Twilight fan. She didn’t have anyone to obsess over the world of Twilight with, until she finally shared her love for the books with Sassenach. She just mentioned them at first; just put the book recommendation out there like it was no big deal. Hah! Hook, Line, Sinker. Sassy was a goner.

So that is where it all started….with a fictional character. The series brought Sassy and Izzy back together. It also brought back their love of reading. They have read countless books since then. Most of which they were just trying to find something as amazing as the Twilight Saga. Surprisingly, they found a few that actually compared. They have spent hundreds of hours discussing books. So eventually one day they thought, everyone should know what we think. Let's start a blog...

Here is our mission: We are going to dissect, review, and discuss our all time favorite books. We will also post about books we are currently reading and the movies, television show or short series coming out based on the books. We hope to recommend new books to our followers and get their thoughts and recommendations as well. We want this blog to be fun, humorous, and engaging.
